How to Force Protocol Encryption in SQL Server

To configure force protocol encryption, expand SQL Server Network Configuration and then right click Protocols for <INSTANCE> and then select Properties.

To turn on Force Encryption select the option Yes from the drop down list and click OK to save the changes.
