However, it is always challenging to keep track of all the security patches, cumulative updates released by Microsoft. In this article I have compiled an exhaustive list of all the security patches, cumulative updates and service packs for SQL Server 2014 Build List released by Microsoft.

How to Identify SQL Server Version
Database Administrators can determine the version of SQL Server they are running by executing the below query.
Important Notes: If the below query returns edition as (64-bit) then is a 64 bit instance of SQL Server 2014.
SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('ProductVersion') AS ProductVersion, SERVERPROPERTY('ProductLevel') AS ProductLevel, SERVERPROPERTY('Edition') AS Edition GO
